Samsung B6000 Series. Samsung was introducing the Samsung LED Television in Consumer Electronics Show 2009 in Las Vegas this month. The sizes of the television start from 40 inches up to 55 inches and they will be available in the market this year.

Samsung said that the LED television consumes the 40 percent of energy more economize than CCFL-backlit standards that being used in the LCD television and much lower than Energy Star 3.0 version. That is not all. These kinds of this television are made of the friendly environments material and leave the mercury material

One of the types of TV from Samsung in CES 2009 is Samsung B6000 Series. This is the slimmest Samsung LED TV with tuner inside and distance solution feature with wall that reduce the space between TV and wall up to 0.6 inches.

Tim Baxter, the Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing, Consumer Electronics Division, Samsung North USA, said that they were not only reach the level that never being reached before for the picture quality and better design but we were also doing this for the friendly environments.

At the same event, Samsung and Yahoo! were Launching “Internet@ TV – Content Service” in Samsung flat TV that enables customer to enjoy the digital contents. Samsung LED 2009 seven, eight, and nine series, LCD and Plasma TV will support the newest service that can be access via Ethernet port or using the Wi-Fi USB dongle.

“Internet@ TV – Content Service” presents the service and web content into Television and adding theYahoo! properties such as Flickr™, Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Weather and Yahoo! Finance to the third parties like USA TODAY, YouTube, eBay, and Showtime Networks.

The basic from Internet@TV – Content Service is The Yahoo! Widgets Engine, plat form application that makes the Javascript applications and XML to be lighter. This plat form allows the developer to create and spread the widget that customized for television via the open plat form.
