Magnetic Resonance Force Microscopy (MRFM) | the New Microscope from IBM - IBM research announces their success in creating the microscope for object enlargement with nanometer scale. That microscope is able to create the picture 100 million times better resolution than MRI technologies that in use on most hospital in present day.

Microscope can zoom the object via namely process the Magnetic Resonance Force Microscopy (MRFM). Microsoft will detect the micro-ultra magnetic resource resonance. Therefore, with that technique, the microscope can see the bottom surface thus secure the biologic material. It means the material can observe into the three-dimensional form

In order to produces that technology, IBM cooperate with Center for Probing the Nanoscale from Universitas Stanford. They are increasing the sensitivism of the MRFM to produce the high-resolution picture.

IBM has tested the microscope for describing the material with nanometer scale. One of several researches of IBM is observe the tobaccos virus measure about the 18 nanometer or one of them per 18 trillion meter.

The IBM researchers wish that this microscope will be useful to investigate the various diseases and create the new medicine for human being. Mark Dean from IBM said that the technology is the revolutionary way to observe the virus, bacterial, protein, the other biologic element.

The scientist from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory used the high ability of microscope several years ago. They are using the 12 feet electron microscope named Transmission Electron Aberration-Corrected Microscope to observe the structure atomic scale in three-dimensional form.

Last July, the researcher from California Technology Institute announced the new and high-resolution microscope with the small size. This Optofluidic microscope designed to be in use to analyze the blood sampling for malaria directly or check the pathogen or mushrooms in water supply
